Project Overview
To begin my skills in designing from scratch, I formulated out a structured plan to create a clothing website prioritising a family orientated audience, where the purpose is promoting independent and popular brands in all categories.
Research & Wireframe
For research, I looked into clothing websites like ASOS, HUGO BOSS and NEXT in order to understand the main differences between these types of sites when it comes to their focus on audience.
I had come to the realisation that ASOS and HUGO BOSS’s websites focus on different audiences compared to NEXT. With ASOS and HUGO BOSS focusing on users who are there to “check in” and “check out” by showing discounts and deals as soon as you enter the website. However NEXT seems to prioritise trust and clarity to the user with deals and discounts not being shown, but seasonal outfits to promotional brands for all users.

This project has really tested and improved my skills in Figma and I’m proud to share that I’ve learnt a large amount of new knowledge using variables and prototype mechanics to make the screen more interactive. As this project is still a work in progress, I plan on learning and implementing more to the design of this website.
